Are we not fed up of such questions always popping up before us wherever we meet some relatives or kiths and kins? Well, being an arts student myself, I assure you there is no need to panic. This field has a lot to offer to its people. Among all the UPSC, Performing Arts, Politics and many other options, there is one arena I would love to focus on- Law.As we all know the need of judiciary and justice in the world , the field of law provides a very convincing career option for students. Be it Corporate offices, Courts, Individuals, Lawyers have to play a great and important role in every field. Providing justice and helping the judiciary in improvising their id eas in order to help the citizens is the main agenda here.  There are so many different colleges and universities which provide L.L.B courses all over the country. To be precise, there are 17 National Law universities (NLUs) in India and hundreds of other private institutions which are renowned at their own levels. In order to get into one of the NLUs, you need to appear for the computer- based national level exam called Common Law Admission Test (CLAT).The total number of seats provided are 2,342 in UG courses and 350 for LLM courses.Admission is done if your marks matches the cut- off marks released individually by all the colleges. These colleges provides a five-year integrated course after 12th and three years course after graduation as well. Moreover , admission procedure for other universities and colleges differ based on their preferences, be it their entrance exams or your 12th mark sheet. In general ,you would need your basic documents to fill the forms and take the examina tion. Registration is mostly done online. They include :Command over Languageâ€"  This is an important skill for lawyers as they need to express themselves easily and in a way everyone understands.  Speaking skill- Anyone opting for a co urse like L.L.B must be able to speak in a so convincing way that could make an impact on others.Aptitude and Analytics â€" This is important in order to tackle with the required problems and stress.Reading habits â€" This skill helps a lot in acquiring knowledge in different fields which is an essential requirement in this field. Time Management- Lawyers need to solve cases and complete works on time in order to meet the deadlines. Time management is a necessary skill which must be developed .Team Work- This is needed in order to help their clients with best services in little time. Collaborating with its team well is also a sign of success. Law could be a very helpful and a quintessential option for students confused about their career ahead.
